Ormsby Heights Baptist Church is a historic Southern Baptist congregation in Louisville, Kentucky. With a legacy of more than 120 years, the church has remained faithful to its mission of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, nurturing spiritual growth, and serving others. Throughout its history, Ormsby Heights has navigated a changing cultural landscape while staying firmly grounded in traditional Baptist beliefs and practices.
From its earliest days, worship services, Bible studies, prayer gatherings, and ministries for all ages have been central to the life of the church. Ormsby Heights has also maintained strong ties within the broader Southern Baptist family and local Baptist associations, partnering with other congregations in missions, outreach, and community support. Over the years, its ministries have continued to expand, including programs for children and youth, men’s and women’s groups, family ministries, and outreach efforts that serve both church members and the surrounding community.
